Cube

It has often been said that furniture and other objects that we use in our daily lifes are dead. On the other hand the relationship between ourselves and furniture can be very much alive. This interconnection is what Cube is all about.
The chair is tightened together with a rope, which connects with a stretcher in the back. The back is then turned in order to tighten the chair toghether. The chair can both be stretched or slacked by turning the back and and reacts differently to its user whether the rope is slacked or stretched.
Cubes reaction, depending on the rope, can be similar to furniture that is worn out by use, wobbly and creaky or firm as what you would expect from a new chair.
All parts of the chair have the same thickness and come only in three lengths.
The chair is held together by the rope and there is no glue used. Therefore it is very simple to disassemble the chair for recycling.
